Hamilton Highlands isn't just a farm; it's a testament to the power of regenerative agriculture. We believe that farming should be more than just producing food; it should be about nurturing the land, honoring the animals, and enriching the community. Inspired by the legacy of Hamilton Farmstead, we've embraced a holistic approach that prioritizes soil health, biodiversity, and the well-being of every creature under our care.

Our farm is a living ecosystem, where every element plays a vital role. We practice rotational grazing, carefully moving our Highland cattle, Cornish Cross chickens, and laying hens across our pastures. This not only provides them with fresh, diverse forage but also allows the land to rest and regenerate. The animals' natural actions – grazing, scratching, and fertilizing – contribute to the health of the soil, building its organic matter and increasing its resilience.

Our Highland cattle, with their majestic presence and hardy nature, thrive on our pastures. They graze on a diverse mix of grasses and wildflowers, contributing to the unique flavor profile of our Highland beef. Their heritage breed, adapted to the rugged terrain, allows them to efficiently convert forage into lean, flavorful meat, rich in nutrients and omega-3 fatty acids.

Our Cornish Cross chickens, truly free-range, spend their days exploring the pastures, foraging for insects and grasses, supplemented with a carefully balanced feed. This active lifestyle results in tender, juicy meat with a superior flavor. They are humanely on-farm butchered, minimizing stress and ensuring the highest quality from pasture to plate.

Our laying hens enjoy the same freedom, roaming acres of pasture, scratching, pecking, and dust-bathing. Their natural diet and access to sunshine contribute to the vibrant, deep yellow yolks and rich flavor of our truly free-range eggs.

At Hamilton Highlands, we're committed to transparency. We want you to know where your food comes from and how it's raised. We believe in connecting consumers with the source of their food, fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainable agriculture. We're not just producing food; we're building a community that values quality, ethical practices, and the health of our planet. We invite you to join us on this journey, to experience the difference that regenerative farming makes, and to taste the bounty of our land.
